We’re excited to announce our 2023 “Texts=Wrecks” scholarship finalists

By Beth Gibson on May 30, 2023

At GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys, we’re thrilled by the response we received to this year’s “Texts=Wrecks” college scholarship. Hundreds of students from across Virginia submitted essays explaining how they try to save lives and build a brighter future for everyone by making wise decisions.

We received so many intelligent, heart-warming, and beautifully written essays that it was truly difficult to choose only five finalists. We learned a lot from reading your submissions, and it was inspiring to hear about your lives, your challenges, and how you’re overcoming them.

Reading your thoughtful essays left us feeling optimistic about the future of Virginia and of America. We will be in good hands as this new generation of leaders emerges.

Please join us in congratulating our five finalists (in alphabetical order):

Cayden F. from Gloucester, VA

Madison G. from Providence Forge, VA

Mya P. from Henrico, VA

Evan R. from Virginia Beach, VA

Hannah Y. from Vienna, VA

We’ll announce our scholarship winner on June 6, 2023

While the deadline for this year’s essay has passed, we encourage everyone eligible to apply again next year.

Our team at GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys feels blessed to have the opportunity to give something back to the state and country we love. We will announce the winner of our 2023 scholarship on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. To keep up with us, please check out our blog, as well as our Facebook page.

Thank you to everyone who applied, and good luck to our finalists!
