Announcing Our 2022 “Texts=Wrecks” Scholarship Finalists

By Beth Gibson on May 17, 2022

At GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys, we are truly heartened by this year’s response to our annual “Texts=Wrecks” scholarship. We received hundreds of essays from students across the country. To be eligible to win, students were asked to submit short essays about how they can make smart decisions to avoid distracted and impaired driving. We were greatly encouraged and inspired by reading them!

Our country faces serious challenges, and the overwhelming response from so many thoughtful students demonstrates that America’s next generation of leaders is ready for what lies ahead.

We are happy to share that this year’s entries included so many well-crafted essays that we struggled to select five finalists. Although we had to limit our selection to a few applicants, everyone who participated in the 2022 GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys “Texts=Wrecks” scholarship has the spirit of a winner.

Please join us in congratulating these finalists (in alphabetical order):

Emily Clark from Corpus Christi, TX

Kaemon Edmonson from Kings Mountain, NC

Omotola Fadeyi from Silver Spring, MD

Mindy Muller from Eagle Mountain, UT

Victoria O’Tool from Yorktown, VA

Scholarship Winner Will Be Announced on May 31

We at GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys consider it a privilege to give back to the community in any way we can. While the deadline for this year’s essay has passed, we encourage everyone who is eligible to apply again next year.

We will announce the winner for our 2022 scholarship on May 31, 2022. To keep up with our law firm, please check out our blog, as well as our Facebook page.

Thank you again to everyone who applied!
