Happy Father’s Day — and meet my dad

By Ken Gibson on June 15, 2016

My dad, Harold Gibson, lives in Richmond. A retired high school principal and assistant superintendent in Chesterfield County, he now enjoys spending time with our family, reading, and going to Richmond Spiders basketball games.

My dad always gave me wise advice throughout my childhood, but his greatest advice was not given through words. Rather, it was given through his example of service to others. My father served his country in the U.S. Army, his community as an elementary and high school principal, his church as a deacon and in other roles, and his family as a devoted husband and loving father.

My dad’s example of service inspired me to become a lawyer to serve my clients.
