GibsonSingleton donates new uniforms to Gloucester High School basketball teams

By Beth Gibson on February 13, 2023

Gloucester, Va. – GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys recently donated new practice uniforms totaling $1,500 for the Gloucester High School boys’ junior varsity and varsity basketball teams.

“The Gloucester community has been good to us, and we wanted to support our hometown teams with this gift,” said partner Ken Gibson. “We saw a need – where our teams didn’t have something that most other teams in our area do have. So, we wanted to be good neighbors and help them out.”

Partner John Singleton added, “As personal injury attorneys, we see too many young people making poor decisions that harm others or themselves. Anytime we can support positive behaviors and character development through sports and other extracurricular activities, we want to do that.”

GibsonSingleton is also offering a $1,000 “Texts=Wrecks” scholarship to any student graduating from a Virginia high school this year or is currently attending any college after graduating from a Virginia high school. Applicants simply have to write a short essay on how they will drive safely and encourage others to do so.

This year, the scholarship will be offered only to Virginia students, so chances of winning for local students are great. More information is available here. GibsonSingleton also offers a “Keys to Safe Driving Agreement” for parents and teens. Read more about GibsonSingleton in the news here.
