GibsonSingleton announces grand prize winner in Coat Drive drawing

By Beth Gibson on December 22, 2016

Congratulations to Barbara Stevens for winning the grand prize of a roadside safety kit in our annual Fall Coat Drive drawing. And thanks for your many coat donations, Barbara!

Kim Colarik, Suellen Hooper, and David Spangler previously won Ballast Band CDs in our monthly drawings.

We have now received almost 400 coats, and we are accepting them through the end of the year.

Just drop off new or used coats from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at our office, 4073 George Washington Mem Hwy, Hayes. (We are not open the day after Christmas or the day after New Year’s.)

We are working with the Salvation Army and several other local nonprofits to distribute the coats to people in need in our area. All who donate a coat receive a free car charger for cell phones.

If you have questions, contact Beth Gibson, community outreach director, or call (804) 413-6777.
