Another winner and more coats!

By Beth Gibson on December 7, 2015

More than 300 people have donated coats in our coat drive, and we have a new winner of our latest drawing.

Margie Borden is the latest winner of a 42-piece road safety kit. Thank you for your donation, Margie!

And thank you, Gloucester, Mathews, and the Middle Peninsula, for your generosity!.

Salvation Army volunteers are busy distributing the coats — to their clients, as well as through local schools and other nonprofits. Many donations have been new coats for children, which have all been distributed.

You can still donate before Dec. 18. More information. Each donor receives an ice scraper, and we have more prizes to come!
