Join us for a fun night supporting local nonprofits, Rotary End Polio campaign

GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys is enthusiastic to be a sponsor, organizer, and performer in the upcoming Rock ’n Rotary charity event at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Abingdon Ruritan Club,8784 Guinea Road, Hayes, Virginia.

“We encourage everyone to join us for a fun night supporting local nonprofits and Rotary International’s campaign to end polio,” said partner Ken Gibson.

Event information
Tickets for Rock ‘n Rotary are $25, which includes two drinks and a souvenir cup. Cocktails and prize raffles begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and live music from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Delicious food by Scoot’s BBQ will be available for purchase, along with craft beer and wine selections.

The Ballast Band and StonesThrow will perform live, along with other special musical guests. The Ballast Band has been popular with local audiences for the past few years with several sell-out events, and the acoustic duo Jeff Green and Eddie Terrell of StonesThrow have delighted fans with their excellent musicianship and harmonies.

“Rock ’n Rotary has had a huge turnout and overwhelmingly positive response for the past two years,” said Gibson. “Based on that, you can expect an even bigger, better event this year.”

Entertainment
The Ballast Band’s home-grown music is rock ’n roll with a hint of blues and funk. The Ballast Band will also perform popular cover songs from other musicians, including Elvis, Simon and Garfunkel, Tom Petty and Van Morrison. “For Rock ’n Rotary, we will have something for everyone,” said Ken Gibson.

Ballast Band members are Charles Records, bass guitar and vocals; Dr. Frank West, keyboards and vocals; Matt Williams, guitar and vocals; and Ken Gibson, drums.
